Home Group Info
Our regular Home Group will usually enjoy a time of Bible Study, sharing, prayer, laughter, fellowship, encouragement, and support. Food can be part of home group life as well as sharing in bread and wine together in communion.
The home group is a safe place where you can grow in the use of ministry gifts praying for each other using the gifts of the spirits for encouragement. There will be opportunities for small steps of faith as we pray for healing and guidance. Practical care has a place in the home group as sometimes there is need for material support or odd jobs needing to be done in each other’s homes. Teaching gifts can be discovered as you help to lead a bible study. We try to have three main activities in each group.
Welcome: arrive get comfortable, get connected, and get focused maybe there is a need to offload a problem of the day.
Worship: Jesus is the centre of all groups and worship of various kinds will always be part of group life.
Word: God’s word as revealed to us in the bible which carries authority for us and we seek to line our lives up to its teaching.
