Easter is always a special time for the Christian church. It is not for us about Easter eggs or celebrating the new life around us in the spring flowers. For us it is about the most amazing fact in history, that if you really believe it will change your life. The central focus for the Christian faith that makes us different from all other faiths is that we believe that; “God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not die but have eternal life”. A Christian believes that God loved us so much He became a man to show us what He is like. We crucified Him but God raised that man, Jesus, from the dead and took that death as the way we have forgiveness. Easter is about finding new life in Jesus Christ.
We have just had a great month exploring prayer together. Every Sunday different members have been sharing new experiences they have had in prayer, from learning to pray out loud without fear of what others think, to speaking in tongues or prayer walking. This month we are going to explore: WHO IS JESUS? Do come and join us.
